Moss Inhibitor

Moss inhibitor programme

Our moss inhibitor programme would be suitable for any lawn that has a moss problem. It is important to remember that the moss inhibitor is a fertiliser and it’s the specially developed composting bacteria within the moss inhibitor, which separates it from the normal fertilisers.

This programme is essentially a programme which either incorporates moss inhibitor as a replacement fertiliser at some points of the year or is a programme that has moss inhibitor as its fertiliser throughout the year.

The degree to which moss inhibitor plays a role in your lawn treatment programme can only be recommended at the time of reviewing the lawn. An example programme that has proven very successful is shown below but if the problem is significant then 3 moss inhibitor applications might be required.

  • Spring treatment - premium organic based fertilisers
  • Summer - moss inhibitor fertiliser
  • Autumn - moss inhibitor fertiliser
  • Winter - turf hardening

Because compaction is often the underlying issue with mossy lawns aerating is almost always a necessity.
